So I’ve been keeping a secret for a few months: I am not currently single. Surprise!
Okay, I guess some of you know this already. Military Dollar and I are getting married (Reaching Dollar 4eva). I’m tired of paying so much damn money for my rent every month, so I’m going to stay home and cook and clean for Mil$ and she’s going to pay for everything for me. It’s an excellent arrangement, plus I get unlimited cuddling time with her pup. And awesome military spouse benefits.

Previously September was my most impressive spending report, at least savings-wise. (I’ve had some other pretty impressive months, but those were impressive if you used the “holy shit, that was a ton of spending” definition of “impressive.”)
Well, turns out December just blew that out of the water!
Overall it was a pretty quiet month; and that combined with the fact that I worked four of five weekends at my second job helped contribute to just how much money I had left over.

A super awesome thing happened to me yesterday that I thought I’d share here. Here’s the thing about me and my spending: I use my credit cards for everything. It’s easy to keep track of, and depending on which card I use I’m either getting cash back or travel rewards points; not much but still a bit of a reward for making purchases.
